Together with Png teammate, Darrel Mok, we went for “The Bosses Network Event” cruise in July 2024, 3 months ago, and at the cruise, we chance upon Damien Koh, a total stranger!
Almost immediately, we can “click” with Damien very well. I meet up with him on & off and he had visited my office for casual chats, of course, not my usual recruitment meetup, haha.
Damien is in the insurance industry and is a very passionate & committed in his career. He is very determined to climb his career higher in the years ahead.
Yesterday, Damien invited me to meetup and we had “kway chap” for dinner. After dinner we went for “ice kachang”. At the ice kachang shop we met this total stranger, Tony, from UK, who was sitting beside our table. We started to chat and Tony mentioned that during his stay in Singapore for the past weeks, we are the only Singaporeans who can chat with him so much. Tony is leaving Singapore today for his business trip to Philippines.

Attended PropNex annual convention 2024 on 13 March 2024 and received my Top 10 Senior Group District Director award (#06). Thanks to all the champions in William Goh & Tricia Ong Districts.
Such grand event is also a great environment to meet & mingle face to face with many positive vibes PropNexians, some whom I had not meet for a long time. Awesome!

My most memorable event in year 2023 was my trip to PropNex Malaysia. Out of the blue PropNex ED, Alan Lim, invited me to PropNex Malaysia to share my recruitment team building journey. It’s an opportunity to meet many PropNexians from PropNex Malaysia too!
Upon my return to Singapore some team leaders and non leaders who were keen to embark on recruitment team building journey approached me for 1-1 meetup with me where I will share my recruitment team building journey with them.

Virtual rental closing! Both my agt & tenant are oversea. Tenant viewed the unit virtually, then signed TA & comm form, virtually too!
Today tenant arrived Sg to take over the unit, brand new, just top, (instead of checking into hotel). As my agt is still oversea, I’m here to meet the tenant & LL to do inventory take over, then to sp to activate account.

Yesterday as I was about to leave PropNex office for home, suddenly a lady called me. Then I notice she is Samantha Han, just joined PropNex in June under WGD leader, Tricia Ong in Tricia Ong Division. Samantha is from Myanmar and she had stayed in Singapore for more than 20 years!
In my previous company I was attached to work at our Myanmar cigarettes factory for 1 year, in year 2000. Time flies it was 23 years ago. So I uttered a few sentences in Myanmar language and Samantha was shocked that I spoke like a Myanmar citizen, haha…
I also told her that when I went to the market in Myanmar & communicate in Myanmar language the hawkers assume that I am a Myanmese, haha…
Similarly, I was once attached to work in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and had picked up the language, the Vietnam people assume that I’m Vietnamese too, haha… (3 July 2023)

When WGD new RES, who don’t have any ready buyer, requested to visit a Showflat, I then ask WGD warrior, Renee Sim, who is Tembusu Grand PIC, for help to do the briefing to my new RES.

I started my real estate journey as a brand new Res 17+ years ago, after my early retirement from my 33+ years previous job, retired as a warehouse mgr. I don’t hv 4 O levels and I have grown to be a team leader in WGD leading a strong & capable team, some of them are also building their own team. What I have achieved today because #IAmgoodenough. Last night, WGD leader Tricia Ong, after her meeting with her potentials, she came to my office for casual chats. Surprisingly she posed me a very rare & unique question where no one had ask me before. We ended our chats at almost 8pm where the office area was pitch dark! (10 Jan 2023).
