CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
All KEOs, practising director/partner and RESs are required to take a minimum of 6 credit hours for each CPD cycle.
Wef 1st Oct 2019
- 4 CPD credit hours must be on Professional Competencies subjects;
- 2 CPD credit hours must be on Generic Competencies subjects.
Exempted
All brand new RES are exempted from CPD requirement for first CPD cycle.
CPD Cycle
Each CPD cycle is one year. The CPD cycle for the current year starts from 1 October of the preceding year and ends on 30 September of the current year. E.g. 2018 CPD cycle starts from 1 Oct 2017 and ends on 30 Sep 2018.
CPD Credit Hours
There is a cap of 2 CPD credit hours for each activity undertaken, regardless of the number of hours per session. For a full-day course/seminar/lecture/workshop approved to be recognised as core activity, CEA will award a maximum of 2 CPD credit hours per day only.
